Rooted in Community
Elberta Commons is more than a development
This thoughtful project will respond to what the community needs. On nine acres, Elberta Commons will add new mixed-use space and public trail connections to the Village of Elberta. Designed with input from residents and guided by careful market research, Elberta Commons will honor the character of this place while creating opportunities for people to live, work, and gather by the water.
Our Process
Community Engagement
Nov. 20th Village Meeting
Gather and design initial concepts and define the financial needs of the project. This is when we start building the vision for what could be built and gathering community insight.
Potential Community Meeting
Proposing a potential event to share the target market analysis and do an introduction to the charrette team.
Design Charrette
Collaboratively engage in a charrette design workshop with the community, gathering input and insight to how we can best amplify Elberta.
Ongoing Engagement
Develop communication strategies that enable community engagement and input throughout the design process.
Community Support
Collaborate with the community to engage neighbors, friends and family in the success of Elberta Commons.
Development Process
Milestone 0
Engage in a RFQ and interview process with all key stakeholders. Upon selection, define our team resources and process. Meet with the Elberta community and begin collaboration process.
Milestone 1
Gather and design initial concepts and define the financial needs of the project. This is when we start building the vision for what could be built and gathering community insight.
Milestone 2
We study everything about the land—from soil quality to environmental factors. This is when we actively seek community input to shape the project together.
Milestone 3
We finalize designs, secure financing, and obtain all necessary permits. Everything is approved and ready to begin construction.
Milestone 4
Construction begins and the project comes to life. The community can see progress as we build and begin sharing updates and showing available spaces.
Milestone 5
Construction is complete and the development begins to activate. A community celebration is hosted at the development site.
