Elberta
Commons
This thoughtful project will respond to what the community needs. On nine acres, Elberta Commons will add new mixed-use space and public trail connections to the Village of Elberta. Designed with input from the community and guided by careful market research, Elberta Commons will honor the character of this place while creating opportunities for people to live, work, and gather by the water.

The Team
A project of this nature requires more than good intentions, it requires the right organizations, aligned around a shared purpose and committed to seeing it through.
Elberta Commons represents a deliberate and thoughtful collaboration between four distinct partners: Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy whose vision and generous donors made this land available for community benefit, the State Land Bank Authority whose frameworks and support make transformative development possible, the Village of Elberta and it’s community whose boards, residents, and leaders have been engaged and invested from the beginning, and the Artemis Companies team selected for their development expertise, values, and genuine commitment to fostering Northern Michigan’s growth.
